The letter Paul wrote to the Galatians shows that the Gospel is at the center of the Christian life. Both legalism (I’m accepted by God based on my good works) and license (I can do whatever I want to do) are actually the same thing – forms of self-salvation. And rather than being good news, they actually become crushing weights on our shoulders. Over and opposed to these two ways of life, the Gospel stands as a third way that actually sets you free. Only the Gospel of Jesus Christ alone shows us the good news that because of his death and resurrection, we aren’t accepted by God based on what we do but rather we are accepted by God based on what Jesus did for us on the cross. There is no other Gospel.

This 12 part series explores the incredible and powerful message of Paul’s letter and the implications of the Gospel on our everyday lives.
